Rose Curtis from Rotorua sent us her write up of the Curtis's experiences while on the True Millennium Run. Her and John didn’t have it easy and there is a lesson to be learned. Even when your bike is worked on by so-called experts, it pays to check what they have done if possible. In their case it would have saved a lot of hairy moments. The Organisers had their problems as well. |

The True Millennium run replaced the New Century run which was cancelled due to concerns about volumes of traffic on the New Years eve 2000. This account was writen by Lee Rusty.
